Nathan Tyler is a vocalist, worship leader, lay preacher, and composer from Illinois. He first became involved in the church by joining a high school praise choir, and from that point on, his faith journey has been intertwined with his music. Over the last 10 years, his musical experience has included classical voice training, musical theater, countless choirs, worship bands, and collegiate acapella.

Whilst studying music at Roanoke College in Virginia, he immersed himself in various college ministries, including a contemporary worship band. From that point on, Nathan has dedicated his music toward bringing people in closer relationship with God. Before beginning seminary, he worked as the Minister of Contemporary Music at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary, North Carolina, just outside of Raleigh for four years, where he led their five contemporary worship bands, organized volunteers, led efforts for LGBTQ inclusivity, and helped implement technology for hybrid worship. Beginning in 2020, he began studying at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California.
